The error occurs due to a problem in the Windows 7 system registry that is impossible to fix if it does not load the desktop.
The computer restarts by itself To overcome this problem and return to Windows loading, you must use the Windows 7 system recovery options . To start the computer with the system recovery console, you need to insert the installation DVD and start the PC from a CD / DVD player. In the recovery console you can select Windows 7 in the list of installed operating systems, go ahead, select the first option, that of the repair of the boot and continue in the wizard. If your computer had a pre-installed partition for recovery (which is often present in laptops and pre-assembled PCs), you do not need a DVD, just enter the advanced boot options screen (usually a key to press on the keyboard for the start menu) among which there is a computer reset. The Windows 7 Restore operation allows you to repair any system error. The computer restarts on its own If the Recovery option does not work , a message will be displayed warning that Windows cannot repair the computer automatically. At the bottom of the message, instead of going to View advanced options , click on Command Prompt . Without worrying about the black interface of the command prompt, just know that it allows you to manage Windows from the keyboard. It opens with a cursor that flashes next to X: which is the internal RAM disk of Windows. At this point, type the following commands with absolute precision and, after each, press Enter. Keep in mind that the commands on the prompt, once executed, cannot be canceled. Type C: and press Enter. Then write dir and press Enter to verify that you are actually on disk C. Write: cd Windows system32 config and then repeat the command DIR to verify that these files and folders are present:
Enter Regback with the CD RegBack command and then DIR to view the contents of the folder and verify that there are 5 files in it making sure they are not 0 bytes (otherwise this method will not work). Copy the 5 files in the upper folder (the config folder ) with the command copy *. * .. always giving Yes to the warning messages regarding the overwriting of existing files. exit Now restart the computer and, perhaps, the problem of continuous restart will be solved. If the isue is not resolved the call to Computer Repair technician.
